TESTIMONIALS

In 2013, I contacted Patti Johnson, to guide my husband and I through a total remodel of our living room and family room. When we met Patti for the initial visit, we were impressed by her design suggestions and her overall knowledge of the structural aspects and obstacles of this job. We knew we wanted the wall removed between the two rooms but beyond that, we left the design completely in her hands. She listened to our wants and desires, took photos, and requested to meet with our contractor.
Because the focus of the new room was our fireplace and our baby grand piano, Patti made several suggestions with respect to the fireplace and mantel design and quickly suggested a chandelier above the piano and another hanging light in the opposite corner for balance with can lights in strategic places around the fireplace and in the center of the new room. Her suggestions for lighting, her attention to detail with crown molding, wainscoting and paint color for the cabinets, walls, and ceiling was perfect. She immediately developed an excellent rapport with not

only us, but also with our contractor which made the whole remodeling process a very pleasant experience.
Patti’s designs, her choices in lighting fixtures, textile furnishings as well as her suggestions for new furniture pieces were different from our previous taste but immediately became exactly what we wanted.
We are enjoying our beautifully designed new room thanks to Patti’s creativity and her extraordinary attention to detail. She is truly a part of our newly remodeled home.

Thank you, Patti, for a beautiful and functional kitchen.

As you know, my front door opens directly into my kitchen. It’s the main entry to my home. Previously, our kitchen gave a cluttered and unattractive first impression for visitors.

Your kitchen design gave me a beautiful entry plus a functional work area. Dirty dishes are no longer on display! My new kitchen has so much storage, that even after a year, I still have empty shelves.

The new lighting design plus the new bay window has really brightened up the area. What a GREAT IDEA.

Also, borrowing just 3 feet from my garage to provide me with a dedicated mudroom and laundry room was ingenious!

I can’t really pick one thing that I like the best: the coffee bar, the beautiful cabinetry, the pantry, the butcher block on the island (great for baking!)....

I also really appreciate how you managed the construction, especially after I became ill.

My only regret is that you moved so far away.

I tried for several years to make our living room feel comfortably cozy without much success. Patti designed a great new space plan that works perfectly! Classic design, comfortable, and very cozy! Patti incorporated the pieces of furniture we loved into our new living room design and we met with her at the Cincinnati Design Center to purchase a few new high end products with her professional discount. I consider the cost of her services a worthwhile expense...we enjoy our new living room every day! - L. Bollman

Hi Patti- just a quick note to praise and thank you for all the good work. The new rug and window treatments look terrific! You’ve done a really nice job, and Gail and I are both very appreciative. Have a nice trip, next week! Sincerely, Tom.
